Snap a selfie, meet your loaf.
Loafsona is a silly camera app. Point it at a friend, your grandma, the dog or a sandwich, and it tells you what bread they are, with a warm, funny reading of their bread personality and a card made for sharing. The bread is drawn at random and never from how anyone looks, so nobody's face is being judged, only their loaf.
Scanning is free, and so is sharing
You can scan as many faces, and as many sandwiches, as you like without paying a thing, and there are no ads:
- unlimited scans of friends, family, pets and sandwiches;
- the bread's name, tagline and personality reading on every scan;
- the full reading, strengths, flaws and bread matches included, on your first scan;
- a share card for Stories, TikTok and iMessage, always free;
- a Bread Box of everyone you've scanned.

The paid breads are for anyone who wants to meet the whole bakery.

Pricing
These are the prices we plan to launch at, in US dollars; the App Store shows the final price in your own currency before you buy, and that's the one that counts. Each one is a one-time purchase, and there's no subscription.

Loafsona mentions the bakery at most once a session and never on your first reading, and whenever it does, you can keep scanning for free.
How it picks your bread
At random. The camera only checks whether there's a face in the picture, so that a person gets a person's bread and a sandwich gets a joke of its own. It never looks at what a face is like: not skin, hair, age or anything else. Type the same name with the same vibe-check answers and you'll get the same bread again.
Your photos
There's no account, no ads and no tracking. Your photo is checked on your iPhone, never uploaded, and deleted when you take the next one, and your Bread Box stays on your phone as well. A photo only leaves your phone if you put it on a share card and send the card yourself. The privacy policy has the details.
