You will need
- A standard deck of playing cards, jokers removed
- One six-sided die (d6)
- A pencil with an eraser, and a notebook or the record pages included here
How long it takes
A winter usually lasts 12 days (between 10 and 13). Play it in one long evening or a little at a time.
Formats and printing
- US Letter and A4: one page per sheet, print at actual size.
- Booklet: print double-sided, flipping on the short edge; fold the stack and staple along the fold.
- Pocket zine: one sheet that folds and cuts into an eight-page mini zine.
- Tablet: bookmarked PDF for GoodNotes, Notability or any PDF app.
